Our Story

Matchmaking in the Prairies since 1989

Camelot Introductions began with a simple conviction: that the right introduction, made by someone who has actually met both people, is worth more than any number of matches generated by a machine.

More than three decades later, that has not changed. We meet every member in person, we ask the questions that matter, and we make introductions one at a time. Our mission is to create thoughtful introductions that lead to authentic connections and lasting relationships built on compatibility and shared values.

We don't believe in algorithms. We believe in people.

Portrait of Lianne Tregobov, founder and intuitive matchmaker at Camelot Introductions

Lianne Tregobov

Intuitive Matchmaker

Lianne has spent over thirty years turning singles into couples across Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Her reputation was built entirely on referrals: clients who met someone, married them, and sent their friends.

Before matchmaking, Lianne spent years in work that depended on reading people quickly and honestly. That instinct became the foundation of Camelot. She is a regular voice in Prairie media on dating, long term compatibility and finding love later in life, and she is a member of the Matchmakers Alliance.

What intuitive matchmaking means

Compatibility on paper is the easy part. Intuitive matchmaking is what happens after the checklist: noticing how someone talks about their family, what makes them relax, where they are generous and where they are guarded. Lianne holds every active member in mind at once and waits for the introduction that feels right, rather than the one that scores well.

It is slower than an app. It is also why so many Camelot introductions end in a second date, and a good number of them in a marriage.

Where intuition meets connection
